Breakfast At Tiffany’s

One of my chosen films was ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’, this was my first film to choose as the character, Holly Golikely, played by the famous Audrey Hepburn, stuck in my head at a real care-free character with a lot of nonsense.

I have chosen four frames from breakfast at tiffanys, and have created my own animations.

A Post Photographic Portrait; Glitter Bag

I have now started to produce .gifs which relate to fashion which is my interest topic.

I created this .gif through editing layers in photoshop.

A Post Photographic Portrait; Birds Flying Around The Window

In a previous post I spoke about doing animated .gifs for this task, I have now created a couple more .gifs to help expand my skills with using the timeline feature on photoshop.

The joy of not being sold anything .gifs

Using an image taken from google images, I created my own animated gif with the slogan, ‘The joy of not being sold anything’. This is to help with the anti-consumerism campaign, Buy Nothing Day.

I have created the same gifs, but they have differences. This was to see which animation worked best.

#Phonar – A Post-Photographic Portrait

2 weeks ago, during #phonar we were given this task,
‘the culmination of this module will be the production of a “post-photographic portrait”. You should source and develop a subject whose story you tell through the production and broadcast of a “A Post-Photographic Portrait”; a phrase that we will investigate and clarify over the course of the module. Your decisions throughout  this process should build upon and further develop the work we’ve begun in creative workshop and throughout the lecture series. This process should be evidenced explicitly and succinctly on your blog as well  ( a 500 word reflective summary would do the trick).
Boom ! Easy-peasy.’

For this task, it didn’t just have to be the one week task which we have been given in previous weeks. I am taking this task all the way to the end of #phonar. From this task, this is where I got my idea of doing animated gifs.
Since then I have had a go at creating my own gifs. Here is my first gif, which has come out successfully.
